About Vacation Rentals in Honokaa

Honokaa is in
Big Island, Hawaii. A major visitor attraction in the Honokaa area is Waipio Valley. The valley is about a 15 minute drive out of town and offers a majestic view of the valley's floor and walls. Those lucky ones can even view the island of Maui in the distance, on a sunny, cloudless day. Vacationers can mix visits to other Big Island attractions such as
Captain Cook and
Waikoloa Beach.
Besides Waipio Valley, for guests of
Hawaii Vacation Homes, Honokaa Town itself is worth a walk through its streets. Several interesting shops are worth stopping by. If you're in town on a Saturday morning, the weekly Farmer's Market happens in front of the old Bothelo building. Local farmers sell everything from fresh vegetables to cut flowers. Just outside Honokaa is the Kalopa State Park. It is a forested area where people can hike and camp (with the proper permits) during their Hawaii vacation.
