About Indiana

Restart your engines and your spirits at Indiana. Speeding down the ovals at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is an experience only the race driver and race car can experience. But visitors could do much more than explore a racing track. Indiana is home to outdoor excitement and urban thrills, apart from flexing the motor muscles. It's one place where machines and nature make up for much of the tourism of the state. The regions of Indiana are divided into North, East, West South Central and South. But there's no region a vacationer can avoid, as Indiana vacation rentals are around everywhere. For a taste of wine and an experience of windmills, the communities of Albion, Angola, Fremont and Kendallville could satisfy any traveler. But it's difficult to get out of the reach of machines even here!

More than 20 restored windmills stand guard at the Mid-America Windmill Museum, in the heart of farm country in Kendallville. From machines to machines, this time of the four-legged animal kind, the Wild Wind Buffalo Reserve in Fremont is home to around 200 bison. North Indiana also offers you opportunities for outdoor activities. As you head to the center of Indiana, the city of Indianapolis looms large among the communities. The central attraction of Indianapolis is obviously the Indianapolis Motor Speedway hosting the annual world famous Indy 500 race. But the Speedway isn't the only attraction here. Indianapolis is also home to the state-of-the-art IMAX theater  which offers 2D and 3D presentations. More varied attractions could be enjoyed at the other regions of Indiana.
