About Iowa

It's one of those places where friends and family matter the most. The wide open arms of hospitality extended by Iowa's vacation destinations and Iowa condo rentals make your vacation a real vacation – away from the buzz and the blitz of the work life within the confines of office blocks. Outdoor recreation is undoubtedly the rule of the perfect vacation. And nowhere could anyone stretch those tired legs than at public campgrounds. The parks and the campgrounds of Iowa just buzz with something to excite someone. Nothing comes in the way of outdoor adventure, natural wonders or memories that make an Iowa vacation more special. The beautiful municipal, county, state and federal campgrounds, are generally open throughout the year. A weary soul would never hear the jarring “NOT OPEN” anytime!

For a sprinkling of history, a trip to Albert City would bring to your attention the Albert City Historic Museum. The exhibits in this museum offer deep insight into a 1900s-era home, military room, small grocery store, laundry room, tool shop and 1875 furnished schoolhouse. You also have on display cars of the early 1900s, music boxes, glassware figurines, railroad memorabilia and medical instruments. The Sunset Park Municipal Campground is another of the attractions in the Northwest Iowa community of Albert Lake. Okoboji is Iowa's resort region. The region which includes Arnolds Park, Milford, Spirit Lake, and West Okoboji, is the home for year-round recreation and fun. Art and theater events, family activities, shopping and dining, swimming, fishing, boating, and horseback riding welcome you here. It's time to be what you feel!
